No misleading. American taxes fund aid, regardless of its form. That's a fact.
aid comes in the form of giving them stuff. you really think we're sending them money so they can turn around and pay us back for the weapons we send them? as opposed to just sending them military aid (in the form of weapons) and advisors???? you really dont understand how this shyt works.

Hence why i fukkin said that the article is misleading

Here's a cliff note of what's happening.

1. Fed government authorizes billions
2. Israel purchases from defense contractors
3. Weapons and equipment are shipped to Israel.

In other words, defense contractors

Like I said before. Politics exist to make people believe they actually have a say in how the Government is ran. The Government does whatever it wants, whenever it wants

That is such an uninformed and juvenile take on how our government works

Who pays for the weapons? Who pays for the military advisors? How does a company like Lockheed Martin make its money?

Tell us how this shyt works then.

“The funding is essentially money Israel can use to buy advanced weapons systems and other equipment from the US through the Foreign Military Financing program,” CNN said."

I was told we were only giving Israel outdated junk our military no longer uses. In fact, were giving them a stimulus to buy the highest end equipment. Do we really think the US will get a penny back from this financing?

*No using out equipment to demolish civilian centers though:ufdup::duck:

we do, but the article suggests we send them the money so they can send it back, which is flat out retarded. we send them shyt that was already built in a lot of cases.

the post on makes it sound like we send them a 3.8B check and they go shopping for F-35s. and like someone else said, that's a bipartisan agreement

You didn't answer my question. Who pays for all of this shyt? Explain from start to finish how this transaction works. Since apparently taxes are not part of this equation, according to you.

Homie this isn't a both siders discussion we are litterally paying for weapons arms with our tax money.

In 2023, the government spent about $6.3 trillion. About $1.4 trillion of that is the cost of Social Security, which has its own dedicated revenue sources, mostly payroll taxes. Then, $0.8 trillion was spent on Medicare, about half of which comes from general revenue. So let’s say the total federal spending that has to be funded from non-dedicated sources is $4.5 trillion ($6.3 trillion minus $1.4 trillion minus $0.4 trillion). This isn’t precisely right for various complicated reasons, but it’s close enough.

This is why civics matters and should be mandatory for voters. Learn the difference levels of government and the political process before you share opinions on it

Some people learn how to work the system while people like you learn opinions. This is the nonsense that had people sitting out because well "the lesser of evils" wasn't a big enough reason to vote. Then tangibles began disappearing. But you are still here saying essentially voting doesn't matter. Your opinion doesn't matter. The supreme court is gonna keep beating you over the head taking shyt away you already had while you say politics is make belief. Tragic.
