A federal district court judge in Washington upheld the decision in 2023 and said human authorship is a "bedrock requirement of copyright" based on "centuries of settled understanding."

Ok but they'll just generate shyt for "inspiration" update it a bit themselves then copyright it.
But people already do that so
Hopefully this speeds up game development process because concept art stage can now be streamlined a bit

They gotta show their process. A guy who won an art contest with AI art that he manipulated failed to get a copyright, so I don't think that will work unless they make substantial changes.
