207 St. Manhattan, Inwood Little League. Tons of games on the weekends especially if you want to go check it out...different leagues too with talented kids.

Not sure if Tolentino's league is still running since he passed a couple years ago, but he was great & groomed aloooootta kids.

I'm sure the south Bronx has several too, but I don't know any specifically.

Good looking.

I won't have him there until next year. Right now, I'm training this lil nigglet.

His swing is ALREADY sick...he can hit the ball out of the infield.

Wait. y'all got segregated little leagues in NYC?

:what:
How did you get that out of this thread?

The leagues are more prominent uptown than I've seen elsewhere.

I drive past the little league squads full of people in the stands when heading to Jersey.

The title of the thread said "I want to put my son in 1 of those DOMINICAN leagues...."

To me, that means it excludes non-dominican folks. I know you black, but your wife might not be.

We live an America that excludes people now?

Seriously? Yes! We do. That's never changed. They find convoluted ass ways to do it, but definitely. I just didn't think it would extend to a children's baseball league.

These "Dominican leagues" are just run by Dominican veterans who breathe baseball, and are great at grooming players from a very young age.

It's super competitive and includes american kids, Dominican kids straight from the DR...any kid you want.

They're run in primarily Dominican/Latino inner city neighborhoods, since there are several in NYC. Therefore, most of the kids in it are Dominican.

This is because solid, competitive baseball leagues outside of the schools (which kinda suck in NYC anyway) aren't really around like that outside of these "Dominican leagues". And they're reputable leagues with traveling teams, scouts viewing all the time, etc.
