I saw this. Kid probably doesn't want to be there and be with his dad. The mom was having her weird druggie friends in and out the house
Kid called his dad when he found the drugs and dad probably told his son to call the police.. mom gets arrested and the kids get to sleep peacefully at their dad's house. Win/win
