These tapes —featuring 12 unreleased tracks from around ‘Dangerous’ era — were discovered by Gregg Musgrove, a former California Highway Patrol officer. The storage unit was once owned by music producer Bryan Loren. Musgrove told The Hollywood Reporter, “I’m listening to this stuff, and I would get goosebumps because nobody’s ever heard this stuff before.” Earlier this year when Musgrove and his attorney approached the Jackson Estate about these findings, the estate declined to purchase the tapes for an unknown reason and provided an official letter stating that the estate “does not claim ownership of these specific cassettes.” But also stated that the recordings can never be released publicly. #MichaelJackson"
