South Florida men's basketball coach Amir Abdur-Rahim, 43, died during a medical procedure Thursday, the school said.

Really curious as to the medical procedure. RIP to the brother.
Another said it was a Aggressive Illness... but regardless a up-coming coach that seemed be a solid father figure and not just a coach. RIP to Abdur-Rahim.

Sad to hear. What he did at Kennesaw State was amazing, they made a total 180. That program had never had a winning season in their 20 years at D1 until 2022-23 when he led them to a conference title and NCAA tourney berth.
