Even the co-main is a bit :flabbynsick:

Honestly not expecting much from the main event other than my boy Cain putting in some work. :manny:

Might watch at a friend's house, will probably just look on the ufc/espn website day after. :francis:

I have Cain finishing this within 3 rounds. I'm not a Cain fan at all, but Werdum was getting rocked by a :flabbynsick: Mark Hunt. If Werdum comes out like he did in the first round against Hunt Cain's going to smash his head in.

Normally I would think rust might be an issue, but Cain's so use to extended layoffs it would probably throw him off moreso if he did fight regularly.

Alvarez/Melendez has the potential to be one of the best fights we see all year. Both are elite 155'ers in their primes.

Main and co-main are very good fights. The rest is brutal. Watching Gastlelum and Cejudo will be interesting, but both their opponents leave much to be desired.

Thought it would be a more mixed reaction for Cain/Werdum but the crowd was heavily in Cain's favor.

I got Cain winning but It wouldn't shock me if Werdum pulled off a W.

Alvarez vs Melendez should be a war and FOTN frontrunner

Riding with Werdum to pull the upset. I mean, Cain hasn't fought in 20 months... that's gotta mean something, right? :sadcam:

My predictions

Cejudo UD. Pure showcase fight to build his resume up for a title shot

Hill UD. I think Torres is overrated. She does nothing exceptionally well. She really hasn't looked good. Hill is an agressive striker with good clinch work/muy thai. Only thing that scares me is her inexperience/cardio. It could go either way but I will take Hill

Rosa UD. Rodriguez is not UFC caliber

Gastelueum KO. Marquadt is beyond washed. He hasn't looked good at all since returning. Hes been fighting since 99. Gasteleum has more power and is a better wrestling. I expect him to walk though Nate easily.

Alvarez UD. Agree with you brehs. Should be FOTN and possibly FOTY. This is very close. Both guys are evenly matched. Alvarez is slightly better boxer while Melendez has slightly better wrestling . Alvarez has a very suspect chin/poor defense. Gil will land that right easily. Alvarez is able to withstand adversity and even come out stronger. That and hes more quicker/younger is why I choose him.

Cain TKO RD 3. If and I mean if, Cain is the same Cain as past, he destroys Werdum easily. Werdum has looked good as of late, but that was against Browne(who can't strike) and Hunt(short notice opponent) And even Hunt was winning before gassing and getting baited into that knee. Cain will bring the relentless pressure he is known for and punish Werdum with his powerful, volume boxing. He will probably take Werdum down later and finish him

I got Werdum, I just think he is much better at everything

Gil vs. Alavarez would of been interesting 5 years ago I feel Gil is too high level for him now

I'm going with Cain in the main event.

I like Werdum, but I remember zombie Nog having success keeping him on the fence which is Cain's bread and butter. Cain is a black belt in BJJ himself so he's savvy enough to avoid any subs from Werdum.

The only issue will be Cain's ring rust and how he'll look after this injury. Physically he looks in better shape than he did in the last JDS fight.
