In a Q&A podcast exclusive to his Patreon account, The Undertaker gave his thoughts on the Corporate Ministry faction from the Attitude Era which was a merger of The Corporation and The Ministry of Darkness…

“How much can I push back really in that situation? But I didn’t like it. I thought as soon as it became Corporate Ministry that it got all watered down and it just ceased to be fun anymore. So, yeah, that was the kind of the beginning of the end right then.

We were really pushing the envelope, as far as touching on religion and all these other different [aspects]. We were getting plenty of hate mail over some of the stuff that we were doing but once The Corporate Ministry, [and] there’s 20 people out there… [The nWo] is a great example of where it ended up, you know? Not a super great payoff, in my opinion. It was just kind of blegh.”

We all knew that it was a wrap when Vince revealed himself as the greater power, still an iconic jump the shark moment for the group though :russ:

And the matches with Stone Cold were just ok. Nothing amazing
The first blood match had one of the most chaotic ending/post match brawls in the history of the attitude era. Weirdly enough Taker & Stone Cold had very underrated workrate match at Backlash 02, when Stone Cold was clearly passed his prime.

The storyline made absolutely no fukking sense. The higher power reveal was one of the stupidest moments in wrestling history. It was finger poke of doom level bad but it didn’t hurt them one bit ratings/business wise.

It did hurt The Undertaker though…it completely killed that version of his character.
