So I'm watching The Bullet Club History playlist on NJPW World and stumbled upon Prince Devitt (Finn Balor for the casual crowd) and Rysuke Taguchi. They started off as a tag team called Apollo 55. In 2013, Devitt turned his back on his tag partner Taguchi to form the Bullet Club with Doc and Karl. Because of this they had a feud leading to some amazing matches. However, the final match they had was a "loser leaves NJPW" match.

These dudes got into the match to the point the shyt felt like a shoot:ohhh:. Then out of nowhere, the Young Bucks interfere to help out their fellow leader (Devitt). Devitt wasn't for the shyt, so he dives onto the Bucks and throws them into the crowd. THIS IS MY FIGHT DAMMIT:birdman:. Rysuke was all like :leon:one on one huh? Devitt like you damn right:ufdup:. So they pull off move after move until Rysuke got the win:ohlawd:.

Finally, Taguchi beats his old friend and tag partner Prince Devitt...but that's not all. Rysuke gets on top of him, gives Devitt the gun gesture Bullet Club is well known for....and does it to himself at the same time:lupe:.

S Y M B O L I Z A T I O N:noah:.

The feud was sadly overshadowed by Tana/Devitt but holy crap what a way to end such a underappreciated feud.

What says you TSC:banderas:

Eddie Guerrero vs Edge

Props. Exactly what i was about to post. I can't remember how the build of the feud was, but this has to be one of the best blowoff matches I've ever seen. It basically kick-started Eddie's face run.

Evolution's feud with Goldberg was actually good for most of it. People say Goldberg got buried, but he basically beat all four members in a 1 on 4 at Survivor Series 03 and was over the whole time. Goldberg's first WWE run wasn't great, but those 3 months it was working pretty well, he was over big.

This feud started to make Batista too. They had the old school angle with HHH putting a bounty on Goldberg's head. A bunch of people failed to collect it, and when Batista came back and injured Goldberg it really established him as a threat for the first time.

One of the bright spots of HHH's infamous reign. The week to week TV was always interesting. They accomplished making Goldberg look like a badass and still being Goldberg, while feeling like he's threatened and at a disadvantage.

The savage / Hogan feud WITHIN nWo. Really reinforced the idea that savage was a wildcard not the be fukked with or handled. The idea that Hogan established a pecking order, and savage was like fukk that bullshyt was relatively authentic. IMHO it was the best sub-feud of the entire nWo run.

In 98? Yea, that was dope. No classic match out of it, but the week to week TV was great.

Now that you mention it, Savage in 98 had a lot more potential than what we got. I know he was injured for some of it, but that loose cannon character he had going was the freshest he'd been in a while, and he could've done some great stuff solo with the upper midcard guys, like Raven or Benoit or Booker T.

The fact that these dudes had a semi-legit beef due to years of bullshyt...it was like the icing on the cake :ohlawd:.

Mysterio/Jericho. Took a break from late 08 to 11 but this was a feud that I revisited and it is an absolute gem between two veterans showing how it's done :banderas:. These 2 matches featured some great storytelling.
