If they ever connected aliens to the annanaki myths or ancient kemetic stories as some type of Gods from outer space in a movie, that shyt would be pure piff.

Not a captivating movie. It's more about the character, his good maths and social awkwardness than the search of UFO.
Primer was boring but the mindfukk was at least interesting. There's nothing in that here, it's very basic.
