I wish I could confidently say Barao will get that strap back, but I just don't see it happening. :francis: He looked utterly underwhelming in his last fight, he had a tough weight cut again, and it'll be tough for him to deal with TJ's movement.

Just rewatched the first round of Barao/Dillashaw... "Don't trade punches with him, he's moving too fast" - Barao's corner :francis:

Maybe Barao will look to work his ground game... go for some takedowns on Dillashaw :leon:

I want Barão to win, but I just think that TJ is better everywhere with the exception of maybe BJJ. When it comes to striking, wrestling, and cardio I think he has the edge. Barão's had a long time to game plan for this fight so hopefully his team came up with a smart strategy.

Predictions

Cummings UD
Phillips TKO RD 1
Nijem TKO RD 3
Crushiank UD
(thats a damn good fight pass prelim)

Caraway vs Windland- Close fight. Windland is miles away a better striker. BUt caraway is very tough and durable. Hes like a 135lb Shields were his wrestling and TD aren't particularly impressive but he is crafty enough to figure out a way to get it to the ground. I think Windland folds and Caraway get the UD

Saunders vs Robertson- Saunders is always fun to watch KO by some crazy ass strike

Castillo vs Miller- Castillo is a low level TAM goof who I can't stand. Miller is falling off but he is still the better wrestler/grappler. Castillo will try to keep it standing since his boxing/power is better but his chin is shyt. He also has bad cardio. I think Miller outlast him for the UD

Lawlor vs Villante- Lawlor has been off for about two years. I think he spends more time on podcast then fighting. Villante is not good at anything but hes much bigger and tougher. As long as he doesn't gas he should win an easy UD

Gomi vs Lauzon- Gomi is washed and the game has passed him 10 times. Lauzon is easily hittable but is still tough to put away. Hes also the superior grappler Lauzon by Sub RD 2

Felder vs Barboza- If Felder can pressure Barboza and nail him a few times he may win since Barboza is very hittable and reacts poorly. I just don't think Felder is on that level yet. I think Barboza maintains distance and finishes him with the TKO RD2.

Tate vs Eye- I want badly for Eye to win this. Cool chick and no one wants to see Tate/Rousey III. Tough fight. Tate is better overall but she has the IQ of a rock. Her biggest attributes is she is tough and outlast her opponents. That being said. Eye is the better striker. I doubt she will be as lost defending Tate's wrestling like Mcmann. If she can get it standing she should take this. Eye by some awful SD.

Dillashaw vs Barao- I think Dillashaw has Barao number. Better striking, footwork, cardio, and wrestling. Barao is still a dangerous fighter with power and can turn a fight around at any minute. But going by history, no fighter who was dismantled like that has came back and won the rematch. Dillashaw/Ludwig had the perfect gameplan for Barao and I expect that to be refined even more this time. I don't see any thing in Barao arsenal outside a huge stike that could stop Dillashaw. And if his last fight with Gagnon was any indication, I think Dillashaw takes the UD. I don't think it will be as one sides as the first fight tho

Barao came in shape he was at 135 before dillashaw was. On the embedded dillashaw training look super legit but :patrice: I don't think it will transfer over into the fight as well this time. I really like Barao style of fighting I think he's craftier than TJ but TJ has way less fight miles and that actually maybe the difference. I don't see Barao sticking around this weight class anymore if he loses he may even just coast after this. :mjcry:
