Got some bread on Almeida, but I came up from hitting on prop bets and the spread from Cavs/Raptors, so I was wondering how much of a sure thing does he seem to be? I know he's undefeated and I've seen him destroy people, but I don't know how good Garbrandt is. :patrice:

Should I put more on Almeida? :ld:

Almeida is definitely the better striker, but I think Garbrandt is the more complete fighter right now.

If Garbrandt is content to stand and trade he'll get knocked out early, but if he fights smart he has the ability to grind out a decision or get a finish in the later rounds.

Almeida got a big win off of Pickett so you would expect him to be ready. But Cody's a wrestler from the Midwest with hands....and a rudimentary(but powerful)striker like Pickett hurt Almeida on numerous occasions in their fight....this fight is 50/50 in my eyes....definitely wouldn't bet on this one...kinda crazy how UFC makes, arguably, the 2 best prospects @ BW go at it so early in their UFC stints....but then you got Aljamain fighting Caraway on the fight pass prelims :wow:. I'm thinking UD for Sterling where he just is too fast and grinds him out on the ground...staying out of submissions.

Barao and Stevens is INTRIGUING. Is he still great but simply not as effective fighting guys more comparable in size? Does the extra 10 lbs. give Barao more strength? less power? more energy? less motivation to train as hard/keep his diet clean? Can Barao take the strikes from the heavy hitters like lil' evil in this division? Did lil' T.J. leave him enough chin to take strikes from ANYBODY anymore? We shall see :wow:......

Story-Saffediene, Larkin-Masvidal, Burkman-Felder....this is a good tv card. And I hope Jessica wins relatively easy so she can fight on the Cleveland card in September...but she's fighting an Olympic Silver medalist......who is a nutcase and loses to ppl she shouldn't....Evil eye got this :shaq:.

I love these sunday cards from the UFC....they seldom disappoint.

This is a solid action fight card. No real names but the matchmaking is great.

I gotta go with Thomas in the main event. Garbrandt is decent but hes limited. Just a one dimensional boxer with power. Almedia is hittable and can be hurt. But he usually recovers and finds the perfect range to finish his opponent off. I don't think Garbrandt can keep up. TKO RD 4

Stephens is too slow for Barao. We saw the key to defeating Barao is quick footwork and massive volume. Stephens provides neither. Barao UD.

Story marches through Tarec, who doesn't respond well to pressure. Story UD

Masvidal UD. I think hes too well rounded for Larkin despite being much smaller. His boxing and wrestling should prevail\

Felder UD. Kind of like Barao/Stephens, fighters with solid footwork and volume striking fluster felder. Burkman does neither. He will probably stand in front of Felder and allow him to pick his shots

Eye UD. I think it goes either way. Both fighters are flawed. I think Eye has more heart then Mcmann, who wilts during adversity.

Trujillo TKO RD 1

Sterling UD. Both are kind of the same. Grapple heavy with rudimentary striking. Sterling is like an early Jon Jones with no boxing and all kicks. Caraway just strikes toward a grappling exchange. I think Sterling strenght and athleticism wins him over in the grappling

Damn I love this card

Cody seemed to hyped up at the weigh-ins while Almeida seemed to be calm yet...maybe feeling himself too much.

The fukkery b/w Barao and Stephens makes me fear for Barao's health tonight :lupe: ....Stevens is locked in, it appears. And when they stood face to face, I was thinking about how much bigger Stevens looked than Barao while Barao was barefoot...but then I looked down and noticed Stevens was barefoot too :ooh:. I got this fight 50/50...but if Barao wins, I think it's by decision but Jeremy would win by vicious K.O.

Aljamain-Carraway probably starts in about 15 minutes.
