UCLA's (leading tackler) is giving up football due to concussions

I think Nate Newtons son quit the Texas Longhorns a little while back too bc of the same thing.

I wonder if this will become an issue with college football...obviously concussions arent exclusive to the NFL

Im still dealing with post concussion sydrome from a concussion i got 6 months ago. I could only imagine what these players deal with that get multiple concussions. shyts no joke

Having played football at the high school and college levels, I can tell you that getting hit in the head like that is no laughing matter. I saw one of my former teammates and he took so many hits, the dude is 40 years old and can barely string together coherent sentences, his wife dresses him and he has to go to a doctor to get checked out once a month.
