Ubisoft adding tiers to their game subscription service

For the unaware, Ubisoft+ is Ubisoft's subscription service on PC with allows players to play all Ubisoft games, including brand new releases and post launch content, at $15/month. According to a Reddit user on the /r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit Ubisoft send out a survey recently asking players if they would be interested in 3 possible tiers: https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeak...ubisoft_new_subscription_tiers_from_a_survey/

• Ubisoft+ Classic: Access to all games which released 18 months ago or before, includes post launch content. Would cost $9 a month
• Ubisoft+ Lite: Access to all games which released 18 months ago or before. Would cost $5 a month
• Ubisoft+ Basic: Access to all games which released 12 months ago or before. Would cost $7 a month

Yeah, the tiers don't really make a ton of sense. Unless I just read them too fast, the descriptions of what you get are virtually identical.

Edit: top tier gets you season passes included, so there's that.

I remember when Ubisoft was running scared from EA and folks were all up in arms to save them.

Now just to see them do the same shyt, if not worse is really heartbreaking.

If this subscription service were on consoles, i would check it out. I always wanted to play Assassins' Creed and Far Cry. I don't PC game anymore

I would be surprised if you couldn’t find far cry 5 and assassins creed for under 10 and 20 dollars by now

Its more of a OCD thing i have. I rather sign up for a service whether its ps plus/now, game pass, etc and try out all the games that catch my interest. I find the value in it and i feel like a kid in a candy store.
