Indeed, how many trillions has US spent over the years confronting Soviet Union and Russia, this is like finding that game you wanted in the bargain bin outside of the store, this is a no brainer.
The United States has included high-precision 155 mm Excalibur munitions in its latest package of weapons for Ukraine, news website Politico reported on Aug. 22.

US to transfer Excalibur high-precision long-range shells to Ukraine
Excalibur shells can have ranges of 40 to 57 kilometers, or up to 70 kilometers if a version with glide fins is used. It is GPS-guided, with an accuracy of 4 meters. Its makers claim on Excalibur shell can accurately hit a target that it would take from 10 to 50 conventional unguided shells to destroy.
Politico also suggests that the United States is supplying Ukraine with more weapons than is publicly announced.
The United States admitted to supplying Ukraine with AMG-88 HARM missiles for destroying air defense radars only after photographs of fragments of used missiles began to appear on Russian social media accounts.
There is also wide speculation that the United States has supplied Ukraine with ATACMS short-range tactical missiles, which can be fired from the HIMARS multiple rocket launch system Ukraine has already received from the United States.
Some recent attacks on Ukraine’s Russian-occupied Crimea, which Ukraine denies carrying out, may have been performed with ATACMS missiles, which have a range of 300 kilometers – a range greater than any missile that Ukraine is known to have.

This US intelligence paper, dated November 1965, suggests Soviet aid to North Vietnam increased markedly that year, coinciding with US military involvement.

During the period 1953 to 1964, various socialist countries granted a total of 317 million rubles’ worth of economic aid to North Vietnam. Almost one-third of this amount was given gratis. The Soviet Union furnished 40 per cent of the total economic aid. Almost three-fourths of the aid furnished by the Soviet Union consisted of complete industrial plants shipped to North Vietnam. It is hoped that by 1967, 185 new plants will be set up in North Vietnam. At the present time, 85 such industrial plants are in operation. To assist in the economic development of North Vietnam, the Soviet Union has sent 2,148 specialists to that country since 1955.”
