There's a lot of wrestlers now taking 3-4 months off a year. They used to only get that time off when they were hurt.

this is a good thing. it could affect weekly ratings a bit but overall it makes them feel like bigger stars.

i'm just talkin the top performers. obviously the lower card wrestlers ain't gettin shyt lol

Probably going to change with them back on the road. Was easier to give them time off when everyone was based in Florida for over a year.

Vince always gave guys midcard and above time off when they asked based on various shoot interviews and books i've read, he gave Bret like a year off to film some TV show and fukk around.

I think the big reason why wrestlers never asked for and took time off at the lower levels was because they knew it was a wrap for their spot and TV time if they did that but the bigger guys ALWAYS took time off injured or not
