I agree with the bolded. I am not shytting on Riles. Obviously dude is well accomplished. I just reject this premise that he is some sort of miracle worker that doesn't allow bullshyt to ride (or hasn't been responsible for his fair share). shyt, his whole legend started with him replacing a coach that was ousted by a star player.
I don't know if Lue is better. We will see. I am sure some folks questioned whether Riles was better than Westhead. "Bu..bu...but who you gonna replace him with" is the worse cop out in the history of sports talk. No other coach could have gotten 2 rings out of the Bron, Bosh, and Wade?
Spo has not been out of the first round in the east without LeBron James. All that said, if you think Spo is the guy then I can respect the consistency. That is the only way that Riles sticking with him makes sense. You can't shyt on Spo AND commend Riles for keeping him. And I have seen many a Heat fan shytting on him.Bron already has two ships. It's that Bron stimulus. Everybody associated gets elevated in order to diminish him. Bosh and Love, despite never winning a playoff series without him, are/were hindered by him. They just got rid of Red Jackson Popovich for him.

I'm saying that Lue is either a dikkhead or was shooting subliminal at Bron with that shyt, because he's clearly more worried about his PR than they are. And that's fine...but when you're out there sabotaging games on some passive aggressive shyt and not being held accountable due to said "Brand", it makes Lue's comments look strange.
