Tyrese was perceived as cool in those early Fast and Furious movies right?

Always noticed this but hell yea! In part 2, Roman was cool. Was on some gangsta shyt and I think he caught a body or two in the movie :picard:

Watched the other ones and this nikka became the butt of the jokes especially to Luda
Some of the times I wonder if he was tight Tyrese didn’t sign to DTP

Imagine the New Roman against those cartel nikkas from 2fast they would have gotten killed first day :russ:

He seemed like the typical street racing nikka. Not really on the black radar but not really considered lame either, just off brand. Gobs of white and latina p*ssy, only hangs out with whites, Hispanics, and other black racers, says “bro” excessively, etc. Good baseball players, finance bros, martial artists, etc all are off-brand but not lame.

And I mean perceived as lame by the majority of the fukked up lost community not lame by my standards.

Well anyway, Tyrese was beloved in those days. I didn't notice too much of a character change. They all end up catching bodies. Tyrese was the butt of some jokes but lowkey he always was even in '2 Fast 2 Furious.' He was always viewed as a fast racer but slow thinker

Nah he wasn't lame at all. They butchered his character. In 2 Fast 2 Furious he was tough, street, and funny. In the later movies, he lost the tough aspect. It was almost like they didn't know how to write his character next to The Rock and Vin who were already tough guys, so they just made him the comedic element.

This scene will always be hilarious though :heh:

He was lol

but those performances were so bad. saw Fast and Furious 2 in theaters, and was too high to process it, but years later I was caught off guard by how comically bad it was. The thing is Walker was maybe even worse. The two of them together was nearly unwatchable. The writing did him no favors either. Think a lot of black actors were written that way around 1998-2008.
