@ how people allowed both genres to be thrown together like that. You can go on sites that sell music, go to hip hop, and have everything from R&B, Soul, funk, and Jazz all in the same category because to a lot of people it might as well be the same thing. It turned into urban/black music instead of respectable genres and the artists allowed it to happen
