Tyrant doesn't air for a couple weeks but I figured I'd start a thread. I read this pilot a year ago. This show is going to be controversial as hell and push boundaries. Really it's an HBO type series on FX. Tons of rape, violence, and sex.

That's what I was thinking too. Isn't "the strain" on FX too? Not too sure about that one. But like you said

The UK version goes hard....a bit harder than I think they'd show in the U.S., even on HBO. You'll see what I mean after a few episodes.

at the amount of crack you have in store.

I will tell you this now, "Hannibal" season 1 is until about the half way mark. But from there until the end of season 2 it's nonstop , this is probably the most a show has improved over the course of 1 season, ever.
