It’s brand building. Just trying to grow my brand and this is another lane to do so. I don’t understand the hate “real hip hop heads” have with type beats. I get that these young nikkas made this shyt hot with copycat beats and over saturation. But it is what it is. Trying to get my name out there too.
I got a whole damn tape dropping on streaming next week that’s all boom bap low end theory beats. That’s gonna be on my YouTube too. I can do any style i want.
Until my tape drop I’m making these. All these beats are old. I’m having fun making the visuals then I just find a random name to attach to the shyt. Let a real nikka live

It's all about the marketing Tek, nothing else. If you can get people to check your work via such and such type beat get 200,000 views on a youtube track, get 1% of those people to click through to your website, that's 2,000 people, then you get 1% of those people to buy which is 20 people,
a 50 dollar lease multiplied by 20= 1000, that's not bad for a week, it does take time to build up the numbers though, but if you can do it it's well worth it. Type beats just give the artist an idea of the vibe, it's all original at the end of the day, it's nothing more than a reference for others.
It's the equivalent of adding keywords to a website (SEO) sure you can have a great website without it, but if nobody finds it, or no one can relate to it, it's just group of online pages thrown together.
