So hyped for this ppv brehs....Robbie is going to take it this time:smugdraper: not going to let up in the later rounds like he did last time...

Also I wonder how Pettis is going to look after the long lay off:patrice: Gilbert could take advantage bust out the same wrestle shyt that guida did, and gilbert is stronger then guida...But Gilbert can be dragged into a brawl,so thats Pettis best chance of getting some sick KO.

Excited for this card, will definitely be going out to see it or ordering it on ppv.

The first Lawler/Hendricks fight was one of the best of the year, will be interesting to see how the rematch stacks up. Not sure who takes it either, kinda rooting for Lawler just because of the story and how his career has had this great resurrection. From losing to guys like Lorenz Larkin in Strikeforce to being on the verge of becoming UFC champion and fulfilling all the hype he had when he first came onto the scene.

Pettis is easily one of the most exciting fighters to watch in MMA, injuries have plagued him. He could use a "Y'all must have forgot how good I am" type of performance. Gil is no joke though, been a fan of his for a long time and it wouldn't shock me at all if he walked away champion. Favoring Showtime slightly though.

Ferguson/Trujillo should have a very fun LW scrap.

Bummed that Holly Holm won't be making her UFC debut.

Predictions:

Hendricks vs Lawler: Tough fight to call, either fighter has the potential to win. I'm leaning towards Lawler though. He's been active, while Hendricks is coming off surgery. Like their first fight, this will be one will be a back and forth battle. In the end, I see Lawler's striking ability being the difference maker.

Pettis vs Melendez: Another tough fight to call, both fighters are very well rounded. It's going to be interesting to see how Pettis looks after a long layoff. Even Melendez himself has not fought in a while. Overall, I see Pettis finishing Melendez in a very hard fought match.

Browne vs Schaub: Bad match-up for Schaub, Browne has power and solid TDD [those elbows]. Schaub [although he looked pretty bad] deserved the decision against Arlovski. Browne takes this via brutal KO.

Duffee vs Hamilton: Hamilton has not impressed me at all in his last two fights. He looked awful against Potts and got dropped and then choked out against that new Russian dude. Duffman via KO.

Ferguson vs Trujillo: This fight is going to be fireworks. Ferguson is the better fighter [better grappler and more technically sound in the stand-up], while Trujillo has more power. I see this fight being a striking war with Trujillo catching and finishing Ferguson. Generally, I would lean toward the better fighter, but I just have a gut feeling that Trujillo takes this via KO.

Faber vs Rivera: Faber is better everywhere. I seeing him subbing Rivera early.

Overall, a very solid card. Two title fights that could go either way and both could easily be fight of the night. Browne vs Schaub and Duffee vs Hamilton is going to be quick and brutal. Ferguson vs Trujillo is another fight of the night contender that will probably not see the judge's score cards. And finally, we'll see Faber continue his non-title winning streak.

Gilbert looks like Nick Diaz in the poster :dahell:

I used to like Hendricks but hes been boring in the important fights. Lawler on the other hand has been exciting and stepping it up for the big matches. Im going with Lawler. Gilbert vs Pettis is hard to call, havent seen Pettis in a min.

Boring in important fights? :dwillhuh:

His last 3 fights [against GSP, Condit and Lawler] have all been fight of the night. All big fights too.

No I meant HE was boring. Excluding the Condit fight it just seem like he was coasting both the GSP and Lawler fight. Im actually watching the Lawler fight right now, and Lawler is the one really making this exciting.
