I don't know. Maybe its the swimmer in me. But there is something about open water/open water pics that make me feel like I'm missing something. Its like I'm staring into a blackhole full of something and nothing at the same time. How people look at the stars is exactly how I look at the ocean

When you actually know the scope and scale of the ocean, it's no surprise. The ocean is a terrifying, treacherous place. There's a reason most humans look at it with unease... Without modern technology an ocean is no more habitable for us than space.
