For all the shyt Russo gets, this entire storyline was so well written.

Vince McMahons “Master Plan” consisted of getting the title off Austin of course... but also getting the title on his next hand picked Superstar the Rock.

He egged Undertaker and Kane to attack everyone that show, and one of the victims was a still heel Rock who just came out to protect D’Lo. Rock challenges Kane to a fade week and his entire plan was set into motion culminating at Survivor Series 1998.

I don't care what anyone says, the Attitude Era will always be the GOAT era to me.

Yep. Even if the matches weren’t actually good, there were still so many defined characters and personalities that would engage you regardless. The most non-over people during Attitude were Sean Staziak, Just Joe, and Mideon. Meanwhile, there’s guys today high on the card that wish they could get the reactions of Crash Holly and Godfather.
