All Star
Person of Interest and Revenge.
I was initially excited for Person of Interest off the strength of the premise and the people involved. My enthusiasm waned after I read that it was going to be a procedural. That turned out to be not completely true. There's still a case of the week, but it's way more serialized than I expected. There's about 4 or 5 ongoing story lines heading into the second season.
As for Revenge, I read the premise and threw it in the bushes. But after the first few episodes, it started getting love from critics, so I gave it a shot. I ended up watching the first five episodes in one sitting. It's a nighttime soap, so there are definitely some over the top moments, but overall it's a pretty dope show.
