The Punk comparison seems to be about some of the anti-authority elements that have been introduced, as well as some of the work-shoot type stuff she's injected into the narrative.
And the Bryan comparison seems to be about the inadvertent nature of what this has turned into, getting super over contrary to the presumed original intentions of the booking, and the misalignments of the feud.
