So im going to buy a tv but im only looking to spend about 600, so i need some ads and intel.

No 3d, No 4k don't need em. But it has to be a smart tv with low input lag. I played my brothers big ass tv and it was the 1st time i noticed input lag.
The size must be between 48-55 as well. That doesn't mean i want the biggest size but i ain't trying to sit close to my tv anymore.

Already got some options like the Samsung j6200 which i might pull the trigger on. But it has only 2 hdmi ports, outdated smart features, and a alleged cheap build so it's prone to a quick expiration.

That Vizio @Big Blue looks solid.

Only thing I will say is that don't worry too much about the "smart features" on your TV.

If you can get a better set without the software...get it. Chances are you are going to want an apple TV or roku down the line anyway.

i guess i can X out smart tv requirements since chromecast is flat out superior and more convenient, but still need to worry about quality and input lag. Do they make normal 4k tv's without the smart, 3d, oled baggage?

Samsung J6200 still looking good:ehh:

how is the motion blur for sports?
Just finished that Denver/Indy game. Blur was nonexistent for the Pats/Skins game (picture was crisp!) but noticed a little more during the Indy game. Not sure if the difference in lighting of Gilette vs a dome would play a factor. Basketball games have been pitch perfect too. Like I said before I'm very pleased with the pickup :smugbiden:

i'm already using rtings, but their database is only recent. The TV im using already supposedly has very low input lag. The Panasonic Tc-LX1, shyt comes with features for your ipod:pachaha: remember those:pachaha::pachaha::pachaha: i never used the feature, and i have an ipod.

If only i knew just how fast my Tv is, I struggle less in finding an upgrade.
