David (Izon)is a terrific guy and a gentleman, I was there and post fight, izon and my cousin chopped it up..Izon kept saying that david will become world champ and he is one tough Baboon, yes he compared my cousin to a motherfukking Baboon.
You know my cousin's former trainer and manager back then, Kevin barry, had don king on the phone and also met up for lunch to set up a Tyson vs tua..but according to Don, Mike wanted nothing to do with Tuaman!!

Izon was one of my favorite heavyweight contenders of the 90s..nevermind the fact he's Nigerian lol...its a shame that he never got a shot at any of the champs...the Tua fight (pro) was nasty but the fight with Derrick Jefferson

This was a great fight. I was scared for Izon (at the time of the fight) after that nasty left by Tua that damn near decapitated the bruh. Would've loved to see Izon go against Holyfield back then
Tua, IMO has the most underrated defense of any heavyweight. People dont understand, blocking, parrying and catching or inside fighting for that matter, but if you do, its impossible to watch Tua fight and not be impressed. Most guys with power, are not defensively responsible, but he shattered that stereotype.
