They fell off once they hit the WWF. Combination of roids, injuries and just not fitting in there. They never got back on track after that, but their NWA/WCW is god-tier. Scotty really was one of the best wrestlers in the world for a short period of time.

Best compliment I can give them - outside of everything the #TSC folk will mention, if they haven't already -- is that they paved the way for the likes of Team Angle and American Alpha.

If more than one team bases its look/schtick off of you, chances are, you're legendary. The Steiners are legendary.

Steiners are like the wrestling equivalent of the hammer brothers:

Wrestling them you better get your weight up or you going to get suplex'ed up and down. The promos with them....eh....eh...., until they split up which ended up blessing us with Big Poppa Pump and a Rick Steiner. Nevermind all of that, them dudes were fun to watch and innovated a lot of moves especially the Frankensteiner .

Bottom line, when you think of tag teams and don't have the Steiners on the brain, you need your wrestling card revoke

Gave them a 10... one of the main things I always remember watching them in WCW was how when it was time for the bulldog, rick would just walk up the turnbuckle on the inside of the ring. used to wonder why more wrestlers didn't just do that instead of going outside and climbing from there

GOAT Tier Team - Their characters as amateur wrestling brothers, with the Michigan letterman jackets, with the loud crazy one and the serious stoic one. Classic example of keeping it simple so the performers can be comfortable.

They are wrestlers that truly made the business look real. Not many guys have that.

Gave em a 9, just under some of my all-time favorites but any 10s make sense.

10. They were so believable and their in-ring style was so exciting that they didn't need to be larger than life cartoon characters. Great catalog of matches too, their stuff with Harlem Heat and The Outsiders in the later part of their career doesnt get many Metzer stars but are very good matches.

Their best match is still vs Sting and Lex to me though, just pure action against a superteam.

Steiners are a 10. You could indict the team and BOTH as singles into any wresting hall of fame and get little if any pushback

Easy 10. Greatest tag team in history IMO. Their matches were ridiculous. Looked like they were fukking dudes up which I later learned is because they were fukking dudes up. They were versatile as fukk and able to go head up with power teams or keep up with faster more technical teams. Innovative as fukk with their movesets. Scott Steiner during their run still has some of the most ridiculous moves in history. Namely the moonsault powerslam. Still probably the sickest shyt I've ever seen.
