Possibly the GOATs. Arn and Tully's JCP run is fukking classic, then they jump ship and keep the same style and gimmick in the very cartoony world of the WWF at the time and have some of the best matches from that period as well. Literally two of the best TV match workers of all time, then you put them in a team where they worked better than most brother teams. Legends. :lawd:

Agreed. I'm going with a 10. One of my favorite in-ring tag teams ever. Just a quintessential heel team with a great chemistry and Tully's smugness played perfectly with Arn's no nonsense straight ahead style. Add in Heenan as a mouthpiece while in WWF and you have an all-time level great team. Just a shame they weren't featured more in their WWF run. LOVED their WCW matches. One of the biggest things I miss from the late 80s early 90s was just how many different and great tag teams existed.

I always thought it was underrated how seamless their transition was from Crockett to WWF. They gave us classics in JCP of course and there was a strong tag division there as you'd expect.. I loved their teamwork and stooging and the way they'd work a body part..

They come up north to WWF and at the time WWF had a strong tag division too and they give us classics against Hart Foundation, Demolition, The Rockers, etc..

:whew:

I don't know enough about their time as a team to make a honest rating.

But I am well-certain they are why the Revival exists. So if the Brain Busters are anything like the NXT version of the Revival, then they can't get anything less than a 8.5-9.

10!

Tully as the sneaky technician and Arn as the ass kicker... a magic team that woulda been the best team anywhere they went.

When I got into wrestling they were the tag champs in NWA, and a year later they came to the WWF... great runs in both companies, even tho' the WWF run was way too short, they still managed to have a nice bunch of dope matches and win the titles in that one year. Kinda mad we didn't get too much of that Midnight Express/Arn & Tully feud in the NWA cause the buildup for the feud was hot, but then Arn & Tully quit... (sidenote: I actually saw them wrestle each other LIVE the week before they dropped the belts and left).

But yeah, long story short, can't find one negative in the Arn & Tully team. Awesome combination.

I loved them. They are a 9. They used get away with alot on Demolition. Tully is a funny motherfukker and Anderson is easy to mark out for. WGTT was last team to have their kind of slick behind the ref back chemistry.
