Now, I don't really know what to choose yet but I will be going to some recruiters later in the week. My mind has been set on the navy because I got cousins there and have been talking to them, but they tell me to go to the air force.

All I really care about is, how I can fully utilize my four years. Tips on school, money, ranking and all that. What will get me the best jobs when I get out.

Any tips appreciated.

Everyone I know in the military says if they could do it again then they would go air force.

Air force has more luxuries apparently.

I just talked to an Air Force recruiter earlier in the week, they'll ask you "preliminary questions". Lie about everything.

Navy you travel more(but you'll be on the boat too )

Airforce(Don't become a military cop if you do). We live better honestly. Better facilities, better bases, easier leadership to deal with from what I seen more like a office job for most etc :yeshrug:

I'm trying to go Airforce but my recruiters a massive fakkit so I'm rethinking the military entirely because of that flip flopping sonofabytch.

But yes, Airforce is the way to go. Look up a documentary on Netflix called carrier, and I guarantee it will convince you to stay the fukk away from the navy

hey friend, im inquiring about the coast guard how is your experience like
im trying to join in a month or 2

I haven't heard anything bad about it. From what I hear it is a great experience. I plan on enlisting, however I've just started the process. Recruiter said I could be sent to boot camp as soon as Oct/Nov/Dec. I don't personally know of anyone who has gone through the process but I've had relatives in every other branch of the military.

I've also heard alot of good things about it as compared to the Navy

You have multiple people telling you to go Air Force. Sounds like good advice. Unless you really want to be on a boat or sub. If you want to be on a sub, you get paid a little extra.

School? I guess I would suggest you try to get into the Naval Academy if you can. Officers get paid more than seamen. It's four years of free school too.
If you can get into AFROTC (air force rotc) or NROTC (navy rotc) or MCROTC (marine corps rotc), do that because it's like air force academy or naval academy but you attend a regular university/college.

If you are an officer and you get out, you'll have a degree plus leadership experience and you'll most likely have Top Secret clearance. There are contractors who want people with TS clearance, because then, they don't have to wait months for an employee to get their clearance. Cash, cold cash, cash monay. Contractors of the military would be attracted to you if you have work experience in a particular technology or field of intelligence, plus top secret clearance.
If you are a seaman and you get out, you'll have teamwork experience and depending on your roles, you may or may not have skills needed in a civilian job.

Coast Guard, apply to the CG academy too. Again, officers get paid more than non-officers.
