Not sure there are "tips" it either grows or it doesn't...at least for me that's the case.

use that olive oil conditioner and hair lotion

use a pick to comb it to reduce breakage

take biotin

I've been there it will itch and irritate you but eventually it passes. Usually lasts a week in tuat annoying phase then it's good from then on. Mine grows fast tho.
