Trying to get a dolby Atmos soundbar. Will the sound travel upwards?

I live in an apartment with nobody below me, nobody beside me but people above me, will the sound travel upwards and bother my neighbors or am I all good on that? Anyone been in a similar situation?

If you are getting a dolby atmos soundbar it will. Upfiring speakers in soundbar will bounce the sound off the ceiling to simulate overhead sounds. it more than likely won't be loud enough to bother them though if its not cranked too loud.
