i am anti military (if you would call it that), and am too stubborn to follow rules

but my cousin joined the air force and my aunt is all excited talkin about how much money he gettin a month to only be gone for 2 days out the month

on top of that his brother is in the military and wasnt pro military or anything but his contract is up in 2 years and he might re enlist

my aunt said either the air force, or the navy or marines, i forgot, but you wouldnt do anything while you were enlisted

not being gone much and a few other perks that i dont know about, tell me, convince me

He's in the reserves, weekend warriors :heh:

Im gonna talk to the AF recruiter tomorrow. They pay for my education as well as pay me a salary to do a job i'd be lucky to get out here at my age, all while not having to pay for shyt but the clothes on my back :ohlawd:

Talking to family/friends that have been in the service, I hear u can get a bachelor's degree much faster in there than you can out here, all while stackin paper and no student loans. Then I can hit the workforce with education, experience, and a good chunk of change. Not to mention the endless connections from traveling across the globe. :ehh:

edit: everybody talkin that "you're gonna die in combat" shyt, thats if you score low on the entrance exam and have to be put in combat arms.. We aint worryin about low scores ova here. :smugdraper:
They have 'regular' jobs (accounting, IT, logistics, etc.), its not all Call of Duty lol

Well its gotta be some truth to it, I've seen others do the exact same thing..
And got hella cars and shyt to show for it :yeshrug:

Well, you can't get a degree faster, but you will receive the moiney to pay for one. And I don't know about International business connects. Not like if you go overseas you're gonna be hobnobbing with foreign dignitaries. You're gonna be working with other Military motherfukkers. As far as ajob that you will be lucky to get out here, that's recruiter talk. That may happen, but if so, you will be vastly underpaid. They train you to work on specifically Military shyt, which may or may not translate in to civilian life. And you will have to pay for more than clothes on your back, unless that's all you want:ld: And as far as the cars, ain't no on in the Military caking like that unless they an officer or been enlisted for a long time. But plenty people are able to manage their money well and live comfortably
