If ps5pro costs 700 now, you sell it for 900 which would still be considered a good deal if it sells for 1000 or more in stores.

If you're a retro gamer this is good news for you because people will want copies of your games if you have more than one.

Indie gaming is going to be hotter than ever because nobody is trying to spend over 80 dollars on a game that begs you to start spending money the moment you boot it up.

Foreign labor being booted out will give experienced developers more negotiating power because they can't be threatened with being replaced by someone with a temp visa. Likewise the people who get deported will take their expertise and work for independent studios.

But, by then, the PS5 Pro be like $1500

Paying $500 for a Switch is easier to digest than paying $1500 for a PS5 Pro.

If Nintendo puts out a $399 Switch 2 /w Trump's tariffs in effect, it would retail for $830+.
