Stupid people voting against their own best interests and supposedly legitimizing the authority of people who serve only the interests of a tiny minority group. This isn't a fluke in the history of democracy. This is what it is at its core. You were just not intelligent enough to see how dumb it is to run a society that way with all the previous presidents. Now that there's finally a president in office who's even dumber than most voters, they finally get a glimpse of it too and they feel disgruntled. But Donald Trump is not a danger to but rather the epitome of what democracy is. He is your president.

Should have become an informed citizen and really become political if you didn't want to end up here. Meanwhile intelligent citizens are stuck with fellow countrymen who will still defend and passionately plead for the failed idea of democracy even after being exposed to two terms of Donald Trump. Democracy defenders can't learn. They're destined to forever remain stupid and intellectually lazy. They are actually very similar to the MAGA crowd but they believe wholeheartedly that they're the intelligent ones who must save democracy from "fascism". It's very cringeworthy.
