I think they’re going to try everything they can to get this done. Doesn’t matter if you’re illegal or not, sweeping entire neighborhoods and families up. Lots of people are saying they’ll just keep people in prison and just have them do labor camps. It’s going to be a bleak future.

i think they'll denaturalized entire families by accusing them of harboring an undocumented immigrant or providing material resources/money and then lying about it on their u.s citizenship application.

like someone was supporting or living with another undocumented person while applying for citizenship and that'll be the thread they pull for justifying removing families.

Of course he's going to try and do it. It's also how he intends to stay president. He's going to claim that it's a state of emergency and he needs to be in charge to fix it.

Only way this piece of shyt is leaving the Whitehouse is in a body bag. He's about to fukk with the money of the agricultural and tech sector. I don't want anyone acting surprised if he has an unfortunate "accident" after making them lose millions of dollars.

Research reviewed by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office indicates that between 50 percent and 75 percent of unauthorized immigrants pay federal, state, and local taxes. Illegal immigrants are estimated to pay in about $7 billion per year into Social Security. In addition, they spend billions of dollars per year, which supports the US economy and helps to create new jobs. The Texas State Comptroller reported in 2006 that the 1.4 million unauthorized immigrants in Texas added almost $18 billion to the gross state product, and contributed $1.58 billion in state revenue, while costing the state about $1.16 billion in services used.

Dear 70+ million retards who voted for this:

I agree. He won't make it.
The thing about all of this shyt trump yappin about takes a lot of work and republicans HATE TO fukkIN WORK.. they like the benefits and perks of the office they hold but don’t want to do the leg work to pass any legislation…

So to say all to say it will be next to impossible for them to accomplish mass deportations… The most that will happen is a few folk ending up in detention centers throughout the country which will have legal challenges in itself
Don't believe this is a bluff. They've been planning this for a long time.

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
We don't know how many illegal immigrants are in this country, where they live, who they are, etc. He'll have to federalize the National Guard to do this. That takes time, money, etc. It's not just pressing a button and magically a division pops up and starts roaming the streets. Let's not start with court cases from blue states and cities that won't comply or will challenge in court.

More than likely, it will be an uptick in deportations but a wall is not going to be built and there will still be illegal immigrants in this country. Trump knows this but he's relying on the idiot MAGA cultists not to even bother questioning him.

That's exactly what my dad told me is what he thinks will happen.

He thinks they'll go after Somalis who have come here more recently.

My mom has been freaking out over the denaturalization thing cause Stephen Miller's words are being amplified in Somali language social media and news. But my dad and her have been saying you've been a citizen for years, don't worry.

My dad got his citizenship over three decades ago himself.

much easier to go after the people who have been here less than two decades, i doubt they'll go as far back as the 80's but they want to remove as many non-whites as possible especially if they're of child bearing age or will be.

Yeah. My dad has been here since 1978. My mom since 1986. Both were really young and had privilege of varying degree and there were not many Somalis in the U.S. at the time. Both benefitted from Reagan signing the 1986 Immigration Act..

The Posse Comitatus Act Explained

The law generally prevents the president from using the military as a domestic police force.

"The Posse Comitatus Act consists of just one sentence: “Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”"

He would need an Act of Congress to authorize this, since the Constitution does not. So the Democrats can easily stop this act, and therefor I said "No".
He has both houses of congress. You still think dude is playing by the rules. Someone of you are in for a rude awakening

I’m sure someone like Thomas can literally expand those definitions to include pretty much anyone.

He does not have enough of both houses to do it. Do you guys understand that the only thing they can do with only 51 votes is budgets. The rest requires more to be filibuster proof.

Seriously, you have a computer in front of you. Use it to look stuff up. If you are a US citizen, you should look up things before you decide to become fearful about it.

"That year, the Senate adopted a rule to allow a two-thirds majority to end a filibuster, a procedure known as "cloture." In 1975 the Senate reduced the number of votes required for cloture from two-thirds of senators voting to three-fifths of all senators duly chosen and sworn, or 60 of the 100 member Senate"
