Forget Murdoch he's 89, the GOP at large won't allow the loss of centralized power, and the cloud hanging over Trump's presidency from the capitol attack and other criminal investigations will drag on until he's dead
the country just isn't set up for multiple parties we all know that begrudgingly
say Trump could even get a few people into the house or senate what are they really going to do... it's not like they'll be any bigger of an obstacle than whatever gop scumbag they replace and will still caucus together most likely or be a non factor

Yes because it would encourage more GOP senators to impeach him on the 2nd trail and barred him from running office again. They know if they let him slide with the 3rd party bs, the republicans are going to lose huge amount of votes in 2024.
