The fact that this isn't bigger news is wild.

* His campaign flagrantly violated the prohibition against campaign ads and outside photographers in that section of Arlington National

* His campaign repeatedly stated beforehand that they understood the restriction and weren't there for campaign purposes.

* When an Arlington staffer tried to stop the photographer who had been explicitly told he couldn't enter, Trump's men pushed her out of the way and insulted her, then proceeded to film the ad.

* Then Trump's OFFICIAL SPOKESMAN claimed it didn't happen, insulted the Arlington staffer, called her a deranged person having a mental health episode, and basically accused the Army of lying.

* Trump's campaign falsely claimed they had footage proving that it didn't happen, then refused to post the footage.

* Less than 24 hours later, they post the campaign ad with the Arlington shots they claimed they weren't taking

* His own VP candidate JD Vance then stood before a crowd and claimed that Trump was only there to provide emotional support and didn't film a campaign spot.

The level of lying, disrespect, and utter disregard for any authority beyond themselves is WILD here. This is another one of those "Would absolutely sink any campaign not named Trump" moments. If he's doing stuff like this when he's not even president, what will he do when he has actual power?

Fox News appears to have only two stories on the incident, and one of them revolves around the opinion of some random guy on social media

Trump 'respectfully' honored fallen troops at Arlington National Cemetery amid altercation report: veteran

Trump's campaign says their photographer was 'permitted' at Arlington National Cemetery

"A U.S. veteran and former member of the Presidential Honor Guard defended former President Trump's appearance at Arlington National Cemetery this week amid reports of an altercation between Arlington staff and the Trump campaign.

The veteran, Lucas O’Hara, said on social media that he worked at Arlington for three years during his time in the military, and he lauded Trump's composure at the event. Meanwhile, the Trump campaign is facing criticism following reports that cemetery staff warned them not to take photographs at the Monday event.

I have witnessed over 75 wreath laying ceremonies performed by politicians and conducted 524 funerals in this cemetery during the time I served in the Presidential Honor Guard for three years. What I got to witness yesterday was the most respectful and solemn ceremony I have seen," O'Hara wrote."

Remember, he's talking about this ceremony being the most respectful and solemn he'd ever seen:

Ain’t seen an “is this staged?” Thread on this yet.. We got one on Kamala buying records though acting like people would say it wasn’t staged lol. We know Presidential candidates aren’t casually walking in record stores to buy records lol. But man this is super staged
