Trouble with PS3 HDMI Connection

Havent played it in awhile, copped Black op II today, changed input to PS3 channel and nothing......just a black screen.....


360 works fine so i know HDMI cords aren't the problem....


Anyone else experience this? How do i remedy it?

Tried unplugging tv, turning power switch off on back of PS3, blowing port (pause), holding power on till second beep....

still nada

the hdmi works fine for the xbox360 and it worked fine with the PS3 before, its just not working for whatever reason now

i think it's a hard reset you have to press and hold the power button til you hear 3 beeps

at one point, i was playing ps3 on an older tv and had to use this method to get my ps3 to work on an hdtv.

thats for freezing problems.....mine is just getting the hdmi connection to work....good lookin tho on the link

Do you have those rca cables our whatever they're called? try using those to see if your ps3 is still functional.

You're PS3 video settings prolly set on component or composite or something.

when you power on your ps3, don't let go of the power button continue holding until it turns off. Then when you power it back on it should work.
