Trouble in the MCU universe? sounds like Whedon and Feige/Disney aren't seeing eye to eye

We caught up with the writer-director to discuss the new film, and asked if Phil Coulson is indeed still deceased as far as the movies are concerned.

Man fukk all of that...

From what I've read, since the beginning Marvel gave Joss Whedon the go ahead to do what he wanted (within reason and taking the context of the burgeoning MCU into context) with Avengers, then AFTER that they gave him the go ahead to Godfather Agents Of Shield.

Agents of Shield's first season benefited greatly from Winter Soldier and the fallout of Shield, it actually became a MUCH more interesting and entertaining show because of that, why would Marvel at ALL be upset or feeling any type of way about the show's synergy with the movie universe?

If they wanted to put Coulson in one of the Avengers flicks then they would, Sam muthafukking Jackson himself has made appearances on the show. I think that so far the show and movie universes have about as much connection as needed...

I feel like Agent of Shield is just filler for all the MCU movies coming out. They switch the story line to fit whatever major MCU movie coming out around that time :pachaha:
