He didn't say that's what it was supposed to be, he said that's what he wished it was. The plan was always the Fatal Four Way, only it was gonna be Jericho instead of Foley (hence the WM2000 video game cover)

No singles matches...all these random tag matches, heel goes over in the main event, and the focus of the main event wasn't even the wrestlers but the McMahons

Every WWF ppv that year was fire EXCEPT Mania

Even the Benoit/Jericho/Angle triple was kinda forgettable....should've been a blassic.

Feels like they just punted on WrestleMania because they knew it was gonna do 800K automatically.

As great as 2000 WWF was it was kind of an early warning of the company stagnating and how they'd be with no competition since WCW and ECW were on life support by then.

I believe that Big Show's contract was always supposed to have him in the main event for Mania. Vince wanted to push him vs Austin for Mania 00 but Austin got hurt.
