WWE Executive Triple H was recently interviewed for Facebook Live to promote WWE's upcoming tour of India in December. Below are some of the highlights.

On his favorite performer of the modern era and of all-time:
"My favorite competitor of all time is probably Shawn Michaels, just I know he's one of my best friends and I just think he's one of the greatest performers of all time. If I had to pick somebody, overall it would be Ric Flair. Modern Shawn would be my favorite, but if I had to choose an all-time favorite, it would be Ric Flair."

On who his least-favorite performer of all-time is: "It's funny - I don't really have a least favorite competitor. Anybody that steps through the ropes, in my opinion, deserves respect."

On why Sheamus received a ten year 10 million a year deal: "It felt right and he's worked hard for the business and has no problem putting over guys like Cesaro or Daniel Bryan at the Biggest show of the year"

On his favorite opponent(s) of all-time: "I had a lot of tough battles with [Mick] Foley, but if I had to pick one, it would be The Undertaker. He's just a legend and getting in the ring with him at high profile events, nobody's better. Hell In A Cell, WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee, it's probably one of the most significant matches of my career completely from a meaning standpoint. It was called 'End Of An Era' and it was. There was a moment with the three of us standing on stage together after that match was over and that was very real to us and it's still very meaningful. I have that picture in my office and I made a plaque with all… for all three of us that has that picture and memorabilia from the match. It was very important and very meaningful to all three of us."
Another HOF'r putting up HBK as the greatest:jbhmm: 90's chat room nerds gonna be mad as hell
WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels will be returning to the ring ... as a special guest referee next month.

"The Heartbreak Kid" will be serving as the special guest referee for the NXT Championship main event between current champion Drew McIntyre and The Undisputed ERA's Adam Cole at the NXT live event at the Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, Texas on November 17th, the night before the next NXT TakeOver: WarGames special in Houston, Texas.

The next night, McIntyre will defend his NXT Championship, assuming he is still champion, against Andrade "Cien" Almas, and Cole will join Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly in the WarGames match against SAnitY -- Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain and The Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong.
:whew: 25k more tickets sold
The Shield appears to be staying together until at least through the Royal Rumble and possibly competing in the 30-man battle royal, this would likely leave Finn Balor as Lesnar's next opponent at the January PPV

RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss recently spoke with The New York Post and addressed Nia Jax taking a leave of absence from WWE.

"We have talked about it a lot," Bliss said. "Whatever she is going through, I wouldn't necessarily call it a leave of absence. She's taking some time off because our schedule it very grueling. It's very, very demanding. There are times where you are run down and your body can't do it anymore and you get sick or you get injured from it and you get tired."

Bliss continued, "So, I feel like everyone needs a reset every once in a while. In NXT I took a few resets and it was never like public knowledge, but we all need them. We all take them once in a while. I am happy when she comes back. I feel like everyone needs that refresher week or refresher moment."

ormer WWE writer Jimmy Jacobs, who was controversially released from the company after taking a photo with The Bullet Club while they were "invading" an episode of RAW, appeared as a guest on Live Audio Wrestling and finally spoke about the situation.

"It's nothing that I'm gonna get into, but I'll say this: no mistake was made," Jacobs said. "I am A-OK with the way that everything went down."

As far as why he was released, there had been speculation that he had heat with management prior to The Bullet Club situation, however he feels that the photo incident was the primary reason.

"It was given to me as the reason," Jacobs admitted. "I've read a couple reports from a couple other places saying that there were things leading up to it, that this was the straw that broke the camel's back."

Jacobs continued, "It was, I'm not aware of any of that, but it's certainly possible. Who knows? But, yeah, it was because of the picture, for sure."

WWE went to great lengths to keep Kane's return to Raw a secret, even to the point of not letting any of the talent know, according to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Kane didn't even directly fly to Portland - the site of Raw, instead flying to a nearby airport, driving to the city/arena and then being hidden the entire time during Raw so no one would see him.
The original plan for Nia Jax was for her to face Sasha Banks at the TLC PPV in a likely Kick Off match. When Jax was given her "leave of absence", plans were changed and Banks had to wrestle an impromptu singles match on Raw against Alicia Fox instead of working with Nia and the finish was pretty much exactly the same as the week prior.
Nia ain't tryna carry sasha thru another ppv opener
