Rhea is a weird case because she built this fanbase online and reinforced it on camera and it's based off pure sex and alternative appeal. I don't know how much you've interacted with them but a massive chunk of Rhea fans don't even follow wrestling, another noticeable wedge are women. So I give her credit for seeing the trap was working and spinning it into what we've witnessed.

H just rode the wave and I can't blame him. Nobody looking at blonde NXT Rhea or newly T-Mobile logo face tat Rhea in creative or watching at home saw her being in CoD or damn near selling a PPV in Australia off the strength. Rhea to me is somebody that tries a bit too hard. She's basically Becky Lynch with a better body and assets. Meaning that "The Man" gimmick in Rhea's case, the "mami" gimmick ran its course. Plus her matches don't really woo me as she wrestles like a athletic eel .

As far as the "TSC Heelturn" or whatever the hell, its like this....WRESTLING fans in general are no different from any other fanbase (if not worse). They have the tendencies to root for the "underdog" and use that underdog as a trope to get their visual booking across, yet when the ball is a rolling for that "underdog" to be the "top dog", it welcomes backlash:

• "Bad creative"
• "Boring title reign"
• "Not being used to their potential"

Reminds me of Takeshyta in DDT before he became a beast in the States. Dude got wild backlash from puro heads despite his skills in the ring. Most heads thought he was a meh wrestler or "Kota at home", but the marsupial seen the vision as a day 1 fan.

Once he became heel, ate his cinnabon, and dealt with the bullshyt booking...organically the crowd seen the vision the marsupial has for him.

Its just human nature for folks to pick and choose, and doubt a wrestler's potential. No different from folks hating CeGOAT until he showed his worth to the crowd.

I think it all just depends. Certain characters definitely need that type of booking to maintain their aura like Taker, Kane, Bray, Goldberg, Big Show, etc.

This Rhea super push on Raw is limiting shine for a lot of other female favorites just like HHH did males wrestlers when he was on top of Raw. Thats what causes the backlash, The playing field not being even.
