I'll be interested to see what a 2-night SummerSlam card is gonna look like.
they have the roster depth to make it decent. hopefully they do. i feel like a lot of their PPVs are small cards, like the one saturday only 5 matches tho thats Saudi so might be an exception. I think Elimination Chamber was also like 5 matches. So loading up a decent amount of good matches on a 2 night summerslam would be great. whats gonna be interesting is how they plan the entire weekend. with 2 night SS, raw, sd, and maybe even an nxt event, its gonna be as stuffed as mania without the HOF ceremony.

who knows what other activities they may have like a WWE World or superstore. plus any indie events since summer def a better travel period compared to mania.

What we gotta consider as well is the fact its 2026 so who knows how different the roster may be by then. Will we still be seeing the veteran wrestlers in their 40s or will the younger new guys and NXT graduates be showcased more? Or will it be a passing of the old to the new type of event? Lot can happen in 2 years. Gonna be exciting to see how things go until then.

Triple H need a better stop watch cause they really been fukking up the end of the show lately
Like they've been cutting it SUPER close with some of the finishes lately but this time they legit missed the biggest angle of the show cause they missed their time :dead:
Hopefully Netflix lets them have some overrun cause damn

It's technically WWE's production team director and Hunter's fault for missing it but it's also pretty dumb that USA never allows an overrun anymore considering it's by far the most watched show on their network lol.

I can't believe the biggest angle on the show they've been working on for weeks was missed....

So, dilute Wrestlemania?

My problem is; WM is suppose to be where everything throughout the year gets paid off or you set up for the next year.

Summerslam is 5 months later. That's not enough time to make that many stories (Because this IS the WWE) in that short of time.

I'd rather Royal Rumble be two nights since it's right before WM.

i can see the case for the rumble. not sure if anything would dilute mania. not every story has to end at mania and most of them start after summerslam anyways. like the 4 heavyweight championship matches were all determined from rumble winners or after. You could make a case about Cody being favorite from having main evented year before and Bayley cuz of the damage control factor and they both won the rumble.

They didn't start building the six women tag until closer to mania when Jade was established there. Sami won the gauntlet match on March 11, bout a month before mania. Thats also when the tag title ladder match was announced. Also when Jey challenged Jimmy tho that had been brewing for a while. The US title buildup wasn't too long itself tho. LWO vs Legado de Fantasma and FInal Testament vs The Pride did have a bit of a build especially the LWO and LDF but weren't big marquee matches the fans were heavily invested in.

They do such small cards on most of the other shows that adding some extra matches spread to two nights wouldn't be that big a difference. Take for example Saturdays ppv. They messed up by having heavyweight vs US. but on a two night event they could have had US title defended on another night plus both tag titles and bayley defending on a ppv instead of SD.

2 mens heavyweights, 2 womens heavyweights, 2 mens tag titles, womens tag titles, IC, and US title, thats 9 right there. K&QOTR was 6 matches in total. Granted it was Saudi and thats different cuz not everyone gonna go. But adding a few more midcard matches bringing it up to 11 or 12 and it can easily be a 5 or 6 match card each night without diluting mania or any other show. Especially if its built right. Use some lesser feuds from mania to summerslam or start planting the seeds as early as possible so it wont be mid July when they start figuring out some of the matches. i think they have enough titles where everyone can be on the card.

Perfect example on why this could work on a 2 night thing since Summerslam is their second biggest event of the year. Last night Double or Nothing had every champion in a match. 3 mens, and 2 women, plus trios titles, tho Okada and Young Bucks were in their own match not defending their respective titles. It definitely was a long ass card but showcased every champion. Splitting big cards like that in 2 sounds better. Especially since they did it for mania since that got so big.

Still got 2 years to go until Minnesota in 2026 so one will have to see how they book this year and next year. Cuz if they overfill the show with like 10+ matches, then splitting the event makes sense. Last year SS had 9 matches with 5 titles being defended. So it was a pretty big card already. Doesn't take much to add a few more. We shall see how they do it in August tho.

2 night rumble makes so much sense

Night 1 women's rumble
Night 2 men's rumble

Just makes sense. But it could very well happen down the road

Mania is the only event that should be 2 nights. None of the other big 3 need it.

I think a 2-Night Royal Rumble works but it'd be a lot different than the way they've been doing it. They'd have to have a lot more interesting title feuds going on to fill out the 2 nights.

A 2-Night SummerSlam is something I'm thinking is a bad idea from a creative standpoint. They might prove me wrong but I cannot think of a time where they've ever had 10-12 ongoing feuds during the Summer that deserved a spotlight like that..

Na, Rumble is fine the way it is. 2 Rumbles and 3 regular matches in one night works. I don’t understand why you guys want 2 Rumbles.
