I'm surprised there hasn't been much talk of a John Morrison return. He's one of the better talent out there

Put him on Raw, call him Johnny Raw, pair him with that Kennedy Cummins girl in NXT along with Toxic Attraction, call them Team XXX or something like that, then get that money counting machine oiled up.

Kennedy Cummins? Did no one google that last name for porn star names?

And they have a wrestler simply named G? And that was after already having a Gigi?

All this complaining... Come on man.. do 1 second of research.

Kennedy Cummins is her real name. What's there to complain about? She's just a part of NIL. Who cares about her name at this point.

And "G" plays an assistant on nxt where she's just referred to as "G". She is not a wrestler, but you'd rather complain than search it out yourself. Her full name is

I was thinking about that. I wonder when NXT Europe, Mexico, and Japan is gonna start. I also wonder what talents HHH is gonna poach.
You know damn well it's gonna be Ospray and Sabre, problem is that those two are ingrained and looked up too in UK wrestling culture and both hate how WWE came in and killed it when NXT UK first started.

Mexico will probably be everyone from AAA, wouldn't be surprised if Konan stooges for them just for a HoF bid.

Japan is hard because that culture will make commitments and will stay till the very end. They will get some names, but trying to incorporate themselves over there with those promotions is like any promotion over stateside trying to incorporate and make a name for themselves here. In other words WWE in Japan is trying to challenge WWE (NJPW/Stardom/Noah)

Ospreay isn't joining NXT
:mjlol:

The only point in going to NXT is to get promoted to the main roster, and he doesn't want to live in America.

True but GOONTAHHHHHH had the same mentality and now he's permanently in the states. Maybe one day will may wake up and be like "let me take my talents to dailys place full time"

Japan is quite different than the US. None of their major companies are like WWE big, but they have like 7 major companies (5 men, 2 women) where the US really only has two*. Additionally, they have numerous long-running indies that have a foothold in virtually every major Japanese city - unlike the US where virtually every indie is essentially a territory.

And the approach to wrestling in Japan is significantly different than in America. They treat it like an actual sport over there as opposed to sports entertainment. The major companies generally run events all week long like the NBA and MLB do but for the whole year. These aren't house shows, all these events are canon, they can't just run the same matches over and over like WWE does with their house show circuits.

Unless they can manage to change the wrestling culture of the country - which is highly doubtful given how vitally important tradition is to Japanese culture as a whole - NXT Japan is going to have to operate significantly different than how NXT America, Raw, and Smackdown are.

They honestly are going to have to probably significantly overpay some upper mid card to bigger name wrestlers from the major Japanese promotions to have a chance. They also will likely have to establish NXT Japan as a legitimate free-standing brand instead of just a feeder system for the main roster likely most of the native talent aren't going to want to move to America to begin with.

Obviously, you can't count out WWE, but the barriers to success there are going to be tough to overcome.

*No, Impact is not a major company, don't come at me with any nonsense saying it is when their PPV attendance and buys are much worse than ROH was during its death spiral.
