I say it all the time.

When I hear Black ppl downplay symbolic moves it reminds me how as a collective the understanding of the value of symbolic change and actions is misunderstood.

Symbolic moves are VERY important, as they imprint messages in the collective subconscious that assist in the process of systemic change.
