An NFL player has been hurt in a nightclub fight, ending his opportunity to play in his very first Pro Bowl on Sunday.
Washington Redskins offensive lineman Trent Williams was the man involved in the nightclub fight, although he is said to not be under any current or pending investigation into the brawl.
The fight that hurt Williams, according to Yahoo, sent two people to the hospital. It also resulted in one man being arrested and five others being investigated.
When asked if Williams might be under investigation himself, a Honolulu police spokesperson said, 'I would not say that,'' leaving many to believe that Williams may be safe from any further discipline from the boys in blue.
This was Trent Williams first opportunity to play in the Pro Bowl, which will be held in Hawaii. Despite Williams being hurt from the nightclub melee, he will still remain on the sidelines during the game.
He will also be paid his Pro Bowl pay, as well.
