Treach ALWAYS pays respect to RUN DMC.
NBN came up in the NJ talent show circuit. Those familar with those types of events know that crowd participation and response means everything, so I think that experience shaped their songwriting. They made songs that would generate energy from crowds when they performed them.

Also, wasn't until a few years back that I realized that Treach was in the the Now I Feel Ya video by Scarface.

This was pretty good. Never realized that about Naughty By Nature and that Run DMC were their favorite group. We need more interviews like this for our legends that are still here.
