As part of the cooperation agreement and location of international fugitives, between the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation and the Marshall agency of the United States Department of Justice, investigative Technical Corps (CTI) personnel located Michael Wolfgang Nichol, convicted in the United States. and required by the authorities of that country for sexually abusing minors.
This person was apprehended in a restaurant in the Laureles neighborhood, in Medellín (Antioquia), and was placed at the disposal of Migración Colombia to advance the administrative process of deportation.
According to reports from the US authorities, Michael Wolfgang Nichol provided drugs to a minor under 10 years of age, sexually abused him, and left him tied to his feet and arms in the trunk of a car.
The assault occurred in the state of Georgia in 2018, and for these facts there was already a conviction and his arrest was ordered.
There is a 2012 history against this man, also for sexual crimes against another minor under 10 years old in Georgia.
To evade these two requirements, the American citizen left his country and as a 'youtuber' dedicated himself to touring the world and sharing videos about charitable works.
On his social media channel, known as 'Miko Worldwide', he had just over 30 thousand subscribers.
Different international authorities inquire whether the current activity was a facade to contact children and adolescents for sexual purposes.
On March 6, Michael Wolfgang Nichol arrived in Colombia from Spain. He moved to Medellín, a city where he recorded some audiovisual content, and was located thanks to the alert from the US Marshall agency and the elements collected by a prosecutor from the Specialized Directorate against Drug Trafficking.
